In response to the European Commission's call for input on the European Standardisation System and to help in the formulation of future EU legislative proposals, COCIR has contributed to the consultation. Given COCIR’s role in the standardisation of medical devices and its contribution to the group of experts (EXPRESS) panel last year, we feel our contribution to the consultation should be useful.
