Agoria - the Belgian federation for the technology industry and a member of COCIR - has adopted a position paper with recommendations to boost the deployment of telemedicine in Belgium.
The paper and its recommendations were taken onboard by the Belgian authorities, with the Health Minister making a public commitment to support telemedicine in the country and to explore avenues for reimbursement for chronic disease patients.

Agoria's paper is a strong echo of COCIR's recommendations which were adopted in March 2010. We congratulate Agoria on this excellent initiative and hope that other countries will follow.
