A number of activities on IPR took place in the first half of 2008.  These include the release of a COCIR Position Paper on 16 April 2008 and two papers of 25 April and 14 May with comments on the progress of the WHO discussions on a 'Global Strategy and Plan of Action on Public Health, Innovation and Intellectual Property'.
